In the second quarter of 2025, the top food delivery services on the iOS platform in Costa Rica showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

PedidosYa - Delivery App saw a noticeable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.5K and peaking at 2.7K by mid-June. The app's weekly active users also followed an upward trend, growing from 22.6K to nearly 29K by the end of the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food & Groceries maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 1.2K and 1.5K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed a strong presence, peaking at approximately 125K in early June before settling around 111K by the end of June.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery experienced moderate growth in weekly downloads, starting from 818 and reaching over 1.2K by the end of the quarter. However, its weekly active users saw a decline from 28K to 23.5K during the same period.

Auto Mercado had consistent download numbers, averaging around 350 downloads weekly. Unfortunately, there was no data available for its active users.

Lastly, Rappi - Deliveries in Minutes showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 450 in late April. Its active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 14K throughout the quarter.
